Digital Desk: On the first day following the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple, devotees contributed more than Rs 3 crore in donations, reported the temple trust.

Ten donation counters were opened following the 'Pran Pratistha' on Monday, according to Anil Mishra, trustee of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the trust in charge of the temple's construction and management.

According to Mishra, devotees contributed a total of Rs 3.17 crore online and at the temple counters on Tuesday, January 23.

He further mentioned that on Tuesday, around 5 lakh devotees of Ram paid obeisance at the temple, and on Wednesday the same number of devotees also turned up.

According to Mishra, plans are being made in consultation with the administration to guarantee that darshan is done and conducted in an organized manner.

Meanwhile, Dattatreya Hosabale, the office-bearer for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has given the Sangh workers in the Ayodhya area instructions to take up the duty of cleaning the temple and work together to perform a well-organized temple darshan.
