The ongoing investigation suggests that the suspects were allegedly inspecting for 25-30 days before shooting Siddique...

Digital Desk: Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader was murdered by contract killing on 12 October as stated by the Mumbai Police. The 66 year old was attacked  in his office at Bandra West when he was about to leave for  his home.

Two suspects were arrested including Gurmail Baljit Singh (age 23), a resident of Haryana, and another Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap (19) from Uttar Pradesh. Both of them have claimed to be members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Shiv Kumar (49), another suspect from Uttar Pradesh is still missing. Police forces are scanning different states, including Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh to catch him.

The ongoing investigation suggests that they were allegedly inspecting for 25-30 days before shooting Siddique. They were said to have been paid in advance, and their weapons reached them hardly a few hours before the crime. The suspects were in an auto-rickshaw when they reached the spot and waited for Siddique to leave his office.

Investigators are still looking for other people who may have assisted the shooters and are possible informants. The police are now concentrating on tracing the mastermind behind this act.
