Digital Desk: Candidate registration for internships at top Indian companies on the PM Internship Portal will launch on October 12. The Government has announced a new cooperating program, to eliminate the gap between education and industry, providing students with valuable work in positioning areas across all sectors.

The portal went live on October 3 for companies and has since attracted an overwhelming response, with more than 91,000 internship offers by over 193 firms. These 24 sectors represent the increasing demand for skilled interns. The largest number of job openings was in the oil, gas, and energy sectors.

These internships are in more than 20 areas of work, such as operations management, production, manufacturing, maintenance, and sales & marketing. This variety of internships allows students to discover opportunities relevant to their future career goals and expertise.

Interns in the program will start their placements in workplaces at companies from December 2, providing an ideal platform to ensure that graduates are prepared for the workforce and become valuable assets in a competitive job market.
