The leader reportedly used offensive language against women and Bol Bom devotees, also known as Kanwariyas, during the Facebook live.


Mridul Das, who is known for his stand on Hindutva and issues like love jihad, made the remarks while on a moving car with a few others.


It is alleged that he might have used offensive language in an intoxicated state.


Following the viral video, netizens have been raising serious concerns about the conduct of leaders within an organization, which often emphasizes women's safety and moral values.


The incident has raised several questions regarding the accountability and measures that the Vishva Hindu Parishad and the RSS's youth wing will take to address the conduct and prevent it.


The Bongaigaon district administration's role and action will also be noticed following the incident.
