Digital Desk: The uproar Shah Rukh Khan film "Pathaan," which has been in the news since its song "Besharam Rang" was released, is making headlines yet again, this time from Ahmedabad.

During the film's marketing on Wednesday, the Bajrang Dal members—members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)—raised a disturbance at the Alpha One Mall in Ahmedabad's Vastrapur. During their protest, the Bajrang Dal members tore down posters of Shahrukh Khan and his co-stars.

The protesters also warned the mall management that if the movie is released, they will stage an even more furious protest.

Protesters could be seen yelling slogans, damaged posters, and large cutouts of Pathaan's actors in a video that the VHP released.

When one of the songs from the movie Pathan, titled "Besharam Rang," was released, Madhya Pradesh's home minister, Narottam Mishra, voiced his objection.

The outfits in the song are offensive at first glance, Mishra later told reporters. The song from the movie "Pathaan" was recorded with a nasty attitude.

Mishra made his comment two days after the song's release.
Members of the Hindu Jagran Manch demonstrated earlier on Tuesday at the INOX cinema in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, demanding that the management not release the film there.

The protesters chanted slogans and sent a memorandum to the theater's management asking them to stop screening Pathaan.

Jagdish Khatri, the president of the Hindu Jagran Manch, declared: "If the movie Pathaan is released, there would be a strong protest. We have today delivered a memo to the Inox Theater management on the film's non-release.

"Pathaan," directed by Siddharth Anand, is slated to hit theatres on January 25.
