All of the chief ministers in the northeast have also received mangoes from Ms. Hasina.
Digital Desk: According to reports
released on Monday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has received a
gift of 600 kg of mangoes from Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
As part of diplomatic efforts, 'Himsagar' and 'Langra' kinds of
mangoes have been supplied to Banerjee. We sent mangoes here last year as well,
according to a representative of the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission.
All of the chief ministers in the northeast have also received
mangoes from Ms. Hasina.
She sent mangoes as a
gift to the chief ministers of West Bengal, Tripura, and Assam as well as to
Prime Minister Narendra Modi last year.
