In a fit of rage, Ganesh attacked his younger brother with a knife, killing him on the spot.
Digital Desk: A man was brutally murdered by his sibling in Gandhinagar, Barpeta district because of a dispute about a pet duck. A murder occurred on Sunday night when Ganesh Prasad stabbed his sibling Ravi Prasad using a sharp knife.
According to family members described that the two brothers fought over the sale of their duck for sale. Ganesh Prasad became enraged because Ravi tried to stop the transaction which resulted in violent physical confrontations. Ganesh faced extreme anger and he used a knife to kill Ravi on the spot.
After committing the crime, Ganesh Prasad quickly escaped from the scene while the entire family went became numb regarding the incident. The local police officers arrived at the scene to retrieve the body before sending it to Barpeta Medical College for autopsy testing. Authorities are conducting a search for the accused as the official investigation continues.
