Digital Desk : After BCCI president Sourav Ganguly tested positive for the coronavirus, four members of his family including his daughter tested positive for the contagion. The former Indian captain had tested positive for the virus a fortnight ago and was subsequently admitted in the hospital with mild symptoms.

Sourav Ganguly has been released from the hospital after his latest tests came out negative. Meanwhile four members of his family have contracted the virus, including his daughter Sana.

As per reports, Sana Ganguly has isolated herself with mild symptoms of the virus and is following all Covid protocols.

In an earlier round of testing, Sourav Ganguly’s wife and daughter had tested negative for Covid-19. Dona Ganguly, wife of Sourav Ganguly had informed media about Sourav’s recovery.

Sourav Ganguly was admitted to Kolkata’s Woodlands Multispeciality Hspital after testing positive for Covid-19 on December 27.

According to the health update generated by the Woodland hospital, the former India skipper had received “Monoclonal Antibody Cocktail therapy” on the same night of being admitted to the hospital.
