Digital Desk: Guwahati Police seized around 60 kgs of ganja at the Guwahati Railway Station in yet another operation on Sunday.

According to authorities, the police conducted an operation at the railway station and recovered the cannabis from a Bihar-based drug seller.

Rahul Kumar Singh, the drug peddler, carried the seized ganja from Bihar for trafficking, but his attempt failed as police apprehended him at the railway station.

Rahul has been arrested and legal action has been taken against him.
On Saturday night, Guwahati Police nabbed a prominent drug peddler from the Garigaon area with a large quantity of cannabis.

Jalukbari Police conducted an operation in the Garigaon area and apprehended the drug peddler, Biki Choudhury, who was carrying a large quantity of cannabis. However, the father of the drug peddler fled from the scene after receiving a clue of the operation.

Meanwhile, the police have filed a case for additional legal proceedings.
