"For the past several days, people in the area have complained that they do not know which spices are being used to make Biryani that are deterrents to a man's sexual drive," Ghosh said.

Digital Desk: Rabindra Nath Ghosh, the leader of the Trinamool Congress, ordered the closure of two local Biryani eateries in Cooch Behar, Bengal, on the grounds that the spices used to prepare the dish diminished men's desire for sex.

"For the past several days, people in the area have complained that they do not know which spices are being used to make Biryani that are deterrents to a man's sexual drive," Ghosh said.

The current chairman of the Cooch Behar municipality also claimed that people from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh were selling Biryani in the area and that the shops were operating without a licence.

"We came here after hearing all of the complaints and discovered that the shops lacked a business licence. As a result, the stores were closed "he added.
