Digital Desk: Tensions erupted in Jogighopa, Bongaigaon district, after a body of an unidentified young man was discovered early morning near the roadside in the Barpara area.
On Tuesday morning, locals discovered the body of the man wearing long pants and a T-shirt.
He had multiple wounds, and the locals of the area suspected that he had been murdered overnight and left by the side of the road.
Soon after the discovery, Jogighopa police arrived on the scene and began their investigation.
The deceased youth's identity has not yet been determined.
Police are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of death and identify those involved.
