Digital Desk: In a shocking incident that has sparked widespread outrage in Mazbat, Udalguri district, a 14-year-old minor girl was allegedly targeted in an attempted sexual assault by a man working at her home.
The accused, 29-year-old Monoruddin Ali, reportedly attempted to molest the girl while she was alone at home in the evening.
Ali, who worked at the victim's home, entered the house under the pretense of asking for water. He allegedly attempted the heinous act her family was not present. The minor immediately informed her family about the incident.
After the incident, the victim's family filed a complaint at the Mazbat Police Station. Monoruddin Ali was apprehended by the police. A case has been filed against the accused at the police station.
