Digital Desk: Bollywood actor Ashish Vidyarthi and his wife, Rupali Baruah, were critically injured in a severe road accident in Guwahati late Friday night.
The incident occurred in front of The Guwahati Address, under the jurisdiction of Geetanagar Police Station.
Reports indicate that a high-speed Avenger bike (registration number AS 01 DY 5061), travelling from the Chandmari direction, collided with the couple.
Both Ashish Vidyarthi, a renowned Bollywood actor and Assam's son-in-law, and his wife sustained severe injuries in the crash.
The motorcyclist was also critically injured in the accident.
Geetanagar police immediately arrived at the scene and rushed the injured biker to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Meanwhile, Ashish Vidyarthi and his wife were admitted to Apollo Hospital in Guwahati, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
