Digital Desk: A powerful explosion took place on Saturday (February 4, 2023) near the venue of a fashion show event in Imphal that actress Sunny Leone is scheduled to attend on Sunday (February 5, 2023), an official said.
However, no casualties were reported in the incident, which occurred in the Hatta Kangjeibung area of Manipur's capital.
The blast took place only 100 meters from the venue at around 6.30 a.m. on Saturday.
Reportedly, it is still unclear if the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device or a grenade.
So far, no extremist group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
