According to Karan Barot, the AAP's spokesperson for Gujarat, "Perhaps it was thrown somewhere else and it got caught in the video. Kejriwal wasn't the target of it.

Digital Desk: Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, allegedly had a water bottle thrown at him on Saturday night during a Garba event in Rajkot, Gujarat.

Online videos of the event show the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor waving to the audience as a bottle falls away from him. At the time of the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was attending a Garba event at Neel City Club while Kejriwal was at the Khodaldham Garba event at Rajkot's New 150 Feet Ring Road.

According to Karan Barot, the AAP's spokesperson for Gujarat, "Perhaps it was thrown somewhere else and it got caught in the video. Kejriwal wasn't the target of it.

Along with Mann, Raghav Chaddha, and Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Kejriwal made a two-day tour of the region. The AAP chief referenced an intelligence assessment on Sunday during a news conference in Rajkot to claim that the BJP has "assigned the task to the Congress to steal as many AAP votes as possible and divide the anti-BJP votes." If the AAP wins the state's election, he also pledged to pay Rs 40 per day for the upkeep of cows in Gujarat.
