Mizoram: As many as 22 persons from the 2nd Battalion of Mizoram Armed police were injured in a road accident between Vai-awt and Buarchep region, Kolasib district, a while ago.
Reportedly, the police personnel was on the way back to Lunglei in a police bus. However, no casualties were reported.

Dr. K. Beichhua, Minister and Surgeon who was passing by on his way to visit Lungsen village, rushed to the accident spot and provided aid to the injured.
Further, Medical Team and police officials reached the spot.
