Guwahati: Two men in an inebriated state attacked a man in Guwahati's Geetanagar area with blade after the latter prevented the two from creating ruckus in front of his house.
The victim identified as Mujahid Ali was allegedly attacked with a blade by the two who in Geetanagar BSF camp. The two miscreants have been identified as Jinkumani Sharma and Ankur Sharma, both brothers.
The two attacked Mujahid with a blade in a fit of rage following which Mujahid was taken to a private nursing home for treatment.
The police managed to apprehend Ankur Sharma while Jintumani Sharma continues to remain at large. An investigation has been initiated in the case while the hunt for Jintumani Sharma is underway.
