Pakistan announced the suspension of all trade with India, including to and from any third country through Pakistan

Digital Desk: The India-Pakistan tensions intensified after the Pahalgam attack when the Border Security Force (BSF) detained a Pakistani Ranger on the Rajasthan frontier between both countries. A Pakistani ranger remains under the custody of the BSF’s Rajasthan frontier.

This incident comes shortly after the detention happened due to BSF Constable Purnam Kumar Shaw accidentally entering the Pakistani territory from Punjab and getting detained by Pakistan Rangers. Indian diplomatic communications and many demanding appeals have been dismissed by Pakistan as they  have refuse to free Shaw.

The BSF veteran Shaw, who is 40 years old, served for 17 years and maintained his position with the 24th Battalion in the Mamdot sector of Ferozepur, Punjab. While working as part of the 'kisan guard' team for border fence protection Shaw crossed the international border accidentally while taking rest under a tree. This incident happened on 23rd  April , while on duty  . His pregnant wife  Rajani Shaw visited senior BSF officials in Ferozepur to inquire about the ongoing procedure for her husband’s release.

These developments unfold against the backdrop of the Pahalgam terror attack, where 26 people were killed in a meadow near Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.  India has taken multiple strong reactions by stopping the execution of the Indus Waters Treaty while closing down the Integrated Check Post at Attari and sending its diplomatic personnel home from both countries.

Furthermore, all types of visas issued to Pakistani nationals by  immediate cancellation from India while the government had set the 30th as the deadline for their departure. India has prohibited all flight routes by Pakistan Airlines from accessing its airspace. The retaliatory move from Pakistan caused all Indian airline flights to be prohibited from their airspace, while Pakistan suspended all trading activities inclusive of third-party countries.

Meanwhile, Pakistani forces have violated the ceasefire along the border for the tenth consecutive night, further straining relations.
