Eight fire engines from the Mumbai Fire Brigade arrived quickly at the scene.

Digital Desk: In Mumbai's Borivali West neighborhood of Saibaba Nagar, a four-storey building toppled down. There have been no casualties reported so far.

"Around 12.30 p.m., the Gitanjali Building near Saibaba shrine in Saibaba Nagar in Borivali West collapsed. At least eight fire engines, two rescue vans, and additional vehicles from the Mumbai fire brigade, as well as police and civic ward officials, were sent to the scene "an official stated.

The building named "Gitanjali"  was abandoned after being deemed in disrepair.

Three ambulances and two rescue vans are available there at the scene.

So yet, no injuries have been recorded. The building was ordered to be evacuated by all families.
