According to reports, he said the company sent him gifts as a thank-you for his work. He has now received much more than he could have ever imagined, owing to a "GoFundMe" that his daughter Seryna set up.
One of the initial donors was reportedly comedian and actor David Spade. The total amount of donations has reportedly surpassed Rs 1 crore, making Kevin emotional. David is said to have given $5,000 (about Rs 3.9 lakh) in total.
According to reports, his daughter Seryna organized the fundraiser to express her gratitude to her single father for his 27 years of tireless work supporting her and her siblings through college and school.
"Yes, throughout his 27 years of employment, he has never missed a day of work. "He started working at this job as a single parent when he first got custody of me and my older sister 27 years ago," she said in the GoFundMe page's description section.
Following the global success of earlier this month's posted a video of Kevin receiving a goody bag from the company for 27 years of constant attendance, many netizens complained that the reward was minuscule in comparison to his selfless service.
