Digital Desk: In an era of the 21st century where grandparents are left behind by society. GD Goenka Public School, North Lakhimpur has stepped in to celebrate grand Grandparents Day on the school premises.

Stressing the proper need for cooperation between grandparents and children Principal of GD Goenka Public School Syeda Farzana Parveen addressed the crowd saying, "Children are the future of the society, you are the ones who will lead the nation therefore we should not forget our roots, Grandparents are the family’s strongest foundation. So they should never be neglected, grandparents keep a family close to heart, and we should not forget our roots."

The program followed by songs, dances, drama, and a cooking competition, where grandparents enjoyed it a lot.
