Mumbai: The country was shaken to its core two years ago when a doctor was raped, murdered, and burnt alive on the outskirts of Hyderabad by monsters. Many celebrities had taken social media to express their anger at the incident. Now, reportedly, a Delhi-based lawyer has filed a case against 38 celebs for revealing the name of the victim on social media platforms.

According to reports, a case has been filed against Anupam Kher, Ajay Devgn, Farhan Akhtar, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Maharaja Ravi Teja, Rakul Preet Singh, and others who revealed the name of the victim on Twitter about the horrific incident. In Law, it is not allowed to use the name of a rape victim on any social media platform.

The Delhi-based lawyer, Gaurav Gulati has filed a case against the 38 celebrities under IPC section 228 A and also filed a petition at the Tees Hazari Court seeking immediate arrest of the celebs.

Its been two years since the horrific ‘Disha rape case’ shook the entire nation. A 26-year-old veterinary doctor was gang-raped, killed, and burnt alive in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad police were lauded for taking immediate action against the accused.
