Digital Desk: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials claimed that the CBI had arrested an assistant director of the Delhi Development Authority in a case of alleged bribery. The CBI has arrested Pankaj Kumar after receiving an allegation that he sought Rs 50,000 to clear a file relating to issuing a conveyance deed in the complainant's wife's name. "It was additionally stated that the following bargaining, the accused determined to take a fix of Rs.30,000," stated CBI Spokesperson RC Joshi. Following a preliminary inquiry, the central investigation agency positioned a tangle and witnessed Kumar accepting a fix of Rs 30,000 from the complainant. "Investigations were carried out at three different places on the accused's property. Finally, the arrested suspects would appear in front of the Competent Courts in Delhi, "Joshi remarked.
