Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced new skill subjects for students in grades 9 and 11...

Digital Desk: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) added new skill subjects for students in classes 9 and 11 under the National Education Policy on January 6, in an effort to encourage students to go beyond their grades (NEP).

A study found that it is essential to offer students with skill-based training because the success of our economy is dependent on it.

The skill development strategy encourages students to go beyond their grades and allows them to tap into their potential, acquire real-world skills, and prepare themselves for success in their chosen vocations.

Teenagers can make more money with skill-based learning since it boosts their employability. It also enhances a country's economy and promotes financial growth.

Learners can benefit from skill-based education as they build problem-solving strategies and good communication abilities.

Skill-based learning promotes creativity, critical thinking, and analytical thinking by focusing on the analysis and application of material to real-world challenges.

On July 29, 2020, the Union Cabinet of India approved the National Education Policy of India 2020 (NEP 2020), which outlines the goals of India's future education system. It replaces the previous National Policy on Education from 1986.

The policy's goal is to construct an education system rooted in Indian culture that directly contributes to India's development by providing high-quality education to all, transforming India into a global knowledge superpower.
