A list of schools that have been degraded and disaffiliated due to norm violations and other malpractices was released...

Digital Desk: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) disaffiliated the Sai RNS Academy in Dispur, Guwahati, after a surprise inspection revealed that the school was not adhering to affiliation standards. Moreover, during the nationwide inspection, Sreeram Academy in Barpeta, Assam, was one of three schools that received a lower grade. 

A list of schools that have been degraded and disaffiliated due to norm violations and other malpractices was released by the CBSE on Friday. During a recent surprise examination of CBSE schools nationwide to verify conformity with Affiliation and Examination Bye-laws, multiple cases of wrongdoing surfaced.
 
A few of the malpractices included the admission of ineligible candidates, the presentation of dummy students, and incorrect record-keeping in certain schools. 
 
The official CBSE notification read, “Under the surprise inspection conducted in CBSE schools across the country to check whether the schools are running as per the provisions and norms contained in Affiliation and Examination Bye-laws, it was found that some schools were committing various malpractices of presenting dummy students, ineligible candidates and not maintained records properly.”

After conducting a thorough investigation, the board decided to downgrade and disaffiliate with the following schools:
