Digital Desk: A 27-year-old youth from Charaideo district, identified as Bachan Kurmi, has gone missing while travelling to Tamil Nadu in search of employment.


The incident has sparked deep concern within his family and the local community.


Bachan, the son of Babu Kurmi from Baulipukhuri village, left for Tamil Nadu on May 20.


He was travelling aboard the Vivek Express from Simaluguri junction accompanied by a fellow villager, Amin Panika, and several others.


According to reports, the disappearance occurred on the evening of May 22 when the train stopped at Tuni Station in Andhra Pradesh.

Bachan reportedly got down from the train to purchase items from a platform stall but failed to return before the train departed.


Amin Panika immediately alerted the family via telephone.


While the rest of the group reached their destination, Bachan remains untraceable and has not established contact with his family or companions.


In response to the incident, the youth's mother Barkhani Kurmi, has filed a formal FIR at the Mathurapur Police Station.
