Digital Desk: Hojai constituency MLA Ramkrishna Ghosh has confirmed that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will visit Hojai tomorrow, March 15, following the cancellation of Home Minister Amit Shah's rally. According to Ghosh, Sarma is scheduled to arrive in Hojai at 11:20 pm.


During his visit, the Chief Minister is slated to inaugurate the newly constructed flyover connecting the New Market and Old Market in Hojai Town. Additionally, he will participate in the inauguration ceremony of various projects under the "Assam Government's Vikas Yatra" for the Hojai district. The ceremony is set to take place on the ground in front of the Commissioner's Office in Shankardev Nagar, the district headquarters.


Preparations are already underway by the district administration for the anticipated event. The Shankardev Nagar ground is being meticulously prepared to host the Chief Minister and dignitaries. Moreover, the Hojai flyover has been adorned in anticipation of Sarma's arrival, the MLA informed.


“The Chief Minister's visit holds significance for the residents of Hojai, as it signals the commencement of crucial development initiatives for the district,” the MLA further added. MLA Ramkrishna Ghosh's announcement provides clarity regarding the Chief Minister's itinerary for March 15, ensuring that residents are informed and prepared for the upcoming event.
