Children are rescued in the greatest number in commercial locations.

Digital Desk: Since June, 33 cases of child labour have been recorded in Kamrup (M), making it clear that this issue is still a major one there. Children are rescued in the greatest number in commercial locations.

Officials claim that "Hotels, building sites and other commercial places use child labour more frequently. These numbers pertain to June, and we'll keep going with July as well. These cases are growing at an alarming rate, as shown by the rise in numbers. People are getting aware of it though as the number of cases rises. They step forward and file complaints about it. They produce information."

They added, "We have several teams that are spread out over the city and they work as needed. To save children, we work along with NGOs. Furthermore, those that employ underage labour will face harsh penalties."
