City Bus Service to Begin Operations on Six Designated Routes in Nagaon

Digital Desk: City bus services, after their successful implementation in Guwahati, have now been launched in Nagaon.

These buses will operate daily across six designated routes within the city, including Puronigudam to Bebejia, Kampur to Metro Hospital, and Rupohihat to Demow Chariali.

The service will run every day from 8 am to 7 pm, ensuring convenient transportation for residents.

Inaugurated today at Nehrubali by MLA Rupak Sharma, alongside the Nagaon District Commissioner, six city buses have been introduced as part of this initiative.

This step has been taken by the Nagaon District Administration in collaboration with the District Transport Department.

Plans are also in place to extend the city bus service to Batadrava in Nagaon in the near future.
