Digital Desk: Serious allegations have emerged regarding the tragic death of an 8th standard student, Utpal Taye, from Philoubari Sankardev Shishu Niketan in Doomdooma.
Reports suggest that Utpal lost his life due to a physical assault allegedly inflicted by a teacher, identified as Sanjeev Chetry from the same school.
The student’s father, Gamesh Taye, is a resident of Amguri in Sivasagar.
As per allegations, the student was brutally beaten during the school dismissal time.
The incident took place on Thursday, and it is alleged that the school authorities attempted to cover up the matter.
On the same day, they reportedly admitted the student to the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH).
Tragically, Utpal succumbed to his injuries around 10:30 pm last night.
The heartbreaking incident has triggered widespread outrage in the entire region.
