The ED confiscated immovable property worth Rs 50 lakh. Samed Ali, who previously served as an executive engineer in the Public Works Department, was arrested by the CM Vigilance Cell after investigations revealed significant financial irregularities.

The total value of assets owned by Samed Ali and his family was estimated at Rs 3.07 crore, with  disproportionate assets amounting to 152.96%.

Further investigations uncovered that he had opened a bank account under a woman's name, where Rs 50 lakh was deposited.

Additionally, he transferred Rs 92.3 lakh into accounts belonging to family members.

Financial dealings with PWD contractors revealed transactions worth Rs 41.3 lakh. Samed Ali also received Rs 28.16 lakh as a gift from his contractor brother and took Rs 17.3 lakh from RK Industries.

However, he failed to provide any documentation to justify these transactions.
