Imphal: The long-standing requirement for the implementation of 7th UGC Pay for college instructors of Manipur has grown to an intention following the State Government announced the implementation order of UGC 7th Pay.

Education minister S Rajen Singh handed over the government order to implement UGC 7th Pay in the state to the delegates of All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA) at the state secretariat on July 3.

Rajen Singh stated that the MOU was endorsed by the representatives of AMCTA, Federation of Government College Teachers' Associations (FEGOCTA).

The education minister appealed to the agitating college teachers to respond to their regular duty as the subject was established and their requirements met. "Normal online classes should be resumed now in the larger interest of the students," Singh stated.
