The fluctuating dynamics of LPG prices underscore the need for consumers to brace themselves for potential financial adjustments...

Digital Desk: State-run oil marketing corporations (OMCs) have once again increased the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders in various districts of Assam from Friday. The recent hike amounts to Rs 25, catapulting the retail price to Rs 2,003.5 in Guwahati's Kamrup Metro district.

In the hill district of Dima Hasao, commercial cylinder rates have escalated to Rs 2,258, reflecting the upward trend in pricing across the region. Upper Assam districts such as Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Golaghat have witnessed marginal fluctuations, with prices hovering around the range of Rs 1841 to Rs 1879.

Notably, the North Assam districts of Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Biswanath, and Sonitpur face a higher price tag of Rs 2030 per commercial cylinder, posing financial challenges for businesses and consumers alike.
This marks the second consecutive increase in commercial gas cylinder rates by state-run enterprises.

The fluctuating dynamics of LPG prices underscore the need for consumers to brace themselves for potential financial adjustments while navigating the volatile energy market landscape.
