Washington D.C: Actor Anthony Mackie has locked the deal to star in Marvel’s 4th film of the Captain America series.
The original Captain America, Steve Rogers retired from the role of Avengers leader in the movie Avengers Endgame in 2019 and handed over his shield to Sam.
Though it is still not clear whether the movie will involve Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes or Winter Soldier, he and Wilson had previously teamed up in the Falcon and Winter Soldier.
Mackie started with his first role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier as Falcon. He was an experienced man and had his self-help group which helped soldiers who were dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder.
The full cast and release date of the movie is expected to be announced soon.
