The incident caused outrage when the victim's parents claimed that there was a plot within the University for their daughter's killing.
Digital Desk: The Cotton University High School first-year student ended up giving up on fate after fighting for her life at the Nemcare hospital since Tuesday. The student succumbed to her injuries around 4 pm on Wednesday.
However, after her death, several questions arose about the Cotton University administration for not being able to initiate a proper investigation into the matter. As per initial reports, the student was suspected to have committed suicide since she appeared to be mentally broken by some of the University students.

The Cotton University students are awaiting the police investigation into the event and have not agreed to the family's accusations.
It is to be noted that till now there has been no confirmation of weather its a case of suicide or planned murder.
