The CID stated that it would look into 414 candidates who allegedly falsified information during the recruitment process.

Digital Desk: Assam Police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) announced on Tuesday that it would re-examine the candidature of applicants who provided false information during their recruitment.

The CID stated that it would look into 414 candidates who allegedly falsified information during the recruitment process.

According to reports, a case numbered 5/2022 has also been registered with the CID.

The department had previously stated that the computer certificates of many candidates who had passed the exams were discovered to be false.

It should be noted that the candidates filed an appeal in the High Court to have the matter investigated, and the court directed the CID to re-verify their credentials.

Candidates must now submit their qualification certificates to the department for re-verification.
