Digital Desk: Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, debuted to mixed reviews on June 16. While the film was released amid high expectations, trade analysts projected a massive opening. The film was launched in five languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada), and Day 1 global results indicated a roaring start.

Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, was released on June 16 after several delays. On its first day, the film, starring Prabhas as Raghav, was viciously criticised for its VFX and language. However, other people thought Prabhas did a good job in the film. Early projections imply that Adipurush had a rousing opening day in theatres. The film could perhaps gross Rs 100 crore on its first day in all languages!

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala has revealed Adipurush's confirmed box office data. Globally, the film grossed Rs 140 crore (gross). According to Sacnilk statistics, the film grossed Rs 36 crore in Hindi, Rs 48 crore in Telugu, Rs 0.40 crore in Malayalam, Rs 0.70 crore in Tamil, and Rs 0.4 crore in Kannada. The total domestic box office collection is Rs 85.5 crore.

Adipurush is a mythical story based on Valmiki's Ramayana, written and directed by Om Raut. Prabhas plays Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon plays Sita, and Saif Ali Khan plays Raavan in the film. In the film, they play Raghava, Janaki, and Lankesh, respectively. Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage play minor roles.

Adipurush is the most expensive Indian film, with a budget of Rs 500 crore. Over two years, the picture saw numerous postponements and controversy.
