In the meantime, a concerned Shakun Batra, Gehraiyaan's director, approached producer Karan Johar, concerned that the actor had turned down the project.
Deepika isn't the type to make rash decisions on the spur of the moment. "I know right away if I want to do a film after hearing the narration, but I don't make decisions on the heat of the moment." "I know whether I'm doing the picture or not in my stomach," the actor says, "but I want to make sure I feel that way for a day or two before responding."

"I believe I am able to make bolder choices since I have a cheerleader in him," she said. Deepika went on to say that he is more expressive than the others.

My family and I are pretty different.
