Digital Desk: The murder of Nikki Yadav, 24, in Delhi has rocked the entire capital, and the Delhi Police are now looking into possible participation on the part of Sahil Gehlot's family, who was Nikki Yadav's lover and live-in partner.
The inquiry has recently turned up some new information that suggests Sahil Gehlot and his family planned to kill Nikki Yadav in the first few days of February, and that she was strangled by her boyfriend on February 10, the day of his wedding.
Authorities further claimed that a Delhi Police constable who is Sahil Gehlot's cousin was one of the main organisers of the woman's murder plot. It appears that the police officer actively participated in the plot to assassinate Yadav.
Sahil Gehlot, according to the Delhi Police, strangled Nikki Yadav before running into at least four of his family members as he tried to dispose the body. Her body was eventually hidden in the freezer of their family restaurant by Gehlot and the family.
According to a police source who was quoted by Hindustan Times, "They planned to assassinate her in the first week of February after learning Yadav and Gehlot had wed covertly in 2021. To enable him to wed the other woman, a plot was concocted.
