  • Assam Cabinet Minister Ashok Singhal announced the launch of a free NEET coaching program in Dhekiajuli, aimed at supporting meritorious students pursuing medical education

DHEKIAJULI: Meritorious students in Dhekiajuli aspiring for a career in medicine will soon benefit from a new initiative offering free coaching for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). Assam Cabinet Minister and local MLA, Ashok Singhal, announced on Thursday the establishment of a NEET 'Super 30' Coaching Centre under the aegis of the Parmananda Indumati Singhal Foundation.

Addressing a press conference at the MLA Seva Kendra in Dhekiajuli, Minister Singhal detailed that the program is designed to provide selected students with comprehensive, free coaching and structured guidance crucial for excelling in the highly competitive medical entrance examination. The initiative underscores a commitment to nurturing local talent and facilitating access to higher education opportunities.

The 'Super 30' program is anticipated to commence within the first week of September, offering a focused approach to prepare students. This move is expected to significantly alleviate the financial burden on families while providing quality preparatory resources to deserving candidates from the constituency.

Beyond medical entrance preparation, the Parmananda Indumati Singhal Foundation is actively engaged in various other youth-oriented training programs across the constituency. As an example of its broader impact, approximately 400 young individuals are currently undergoing training at Bhotpara Stadium, near Dhekiajuli town, preparing for recruitment into the police and armed forces, highlighting the foundation's diverse efforts in youth empowerment and skill development.
