Digital Desk: Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper-batsman, was involved in a tragic accident while returning to his hometown of Roorkee and almost averted death. Rishabh Pant was transferred to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai for surgery after undergoing care in Dehradun. Rumour has it that Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, who was previously at odds with Pant, paid him a visit at the hospital.

Urvashi shared a story from Kokilaben Hospital on Instagram. However, it is difficult to ascertain whether she went to see him in the hospital.
Urvashi Rautela posted a video of the Mumbai hospital where Rishabh Pant is undergoing treatment.

Previously, the BCCI announced that Pant would be flown to Mumbai for additional treatment at Kokilaben Hospital. "He will be admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Institution and Medical Research Institute and will be under the direct supervision of Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala, Head Of the Centre for Sports Medicine, and Director - of Arthroscopy & Shoulder Service at the hospital. "Rishabh will have surgery and subsequent operations for ligament tears and will be watched by the BCCI Medical Team throughout his recovery and rehabilitation," the BCCI said in a statement.

"Pant has two scrapes on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, has injured his right wrist, ankle, and toe, and has suffered chafing injuries on his back," BCCI said earlier.

Urvashi Rautela, a Bollywood actress, was linked to cricketer Rishabh Pant when she claimed that a man with the initials 'RP' waited for her for hours in a hotel lobby. After this, Rishabh Pant uploaded a story on Instagram in which he said, "It's funny how individuals lie in interviews only for some measly popularity and for making the headlines. It's sad how some individuals crave fame and recognition. "merapichachorhoBehen #Jhutkibhilimithotihai," may God bless them.
