This unusual scene unfolded near the canal adjacent to National Highway 15 in Dalgaon.

The incident occurred when a speeding diesel tanker, bearing registration number AS-16AC-2627, lost control and plunged into the roadside waterway.

As a result, diesel spilled into the canal, prompting locals to gather with buckets and even cloths to retrieve the oil from the water.

Authorities, including Dalgaon police and firefighting teams, quickly arrived at the site.

Fortunately, both the driver and the handyman of the tanker managed to escape unharmed.
