A viral video of similar-looking creatures like the extinct dinosaurs will leave you bewildered. 


Digital Desk: A widespread social media video has captured the internet's attention for an exceptional reason. The animals in this video may appear to be dinosaurs at first sight if you watch it. 


However, upon closer inspection, you will notice that these are just coatis or coatimundis. The video is just reversed. After being posted on Twitter, it got over 2 million views by the username Buitengebieden.


The viral video may fool you into believing you're witnessing a herd of dinosaurs rush. However, this is only a reverse movie of a bunch of coatis.


Many of you may have heard the name "coatis or coatimundis" for the first time; well, they are members of the Procyonidae family, namely the species of Nasua and Nasuella. They are diurnal animals endemic to South America, Central America, Mexico, and the United States southwest.
