As Diwali also marks the start of the New Year, muhurat trading on this day is thought to bring money and prosperity for the rest of the year.

What is the Date and Time for this year's Muhurat trading?

Trading in the equity, equity and derivatives segments will start in the evening around 6:15 PM on October 24 and will end exactly after one hour at 7:15 PM.

Diwali Muhurat Trading Session Timings

Normal Market Open-6:00 pm

Normal Market Close-7:15 pm

Set up a cut-off time for Position Limit/Collateral Value-7:25 pm

Trade modification end time--7:25 pm

All trades performed during this Diwali Muhurat trading session will result in settlement obligations, according to the NSE. On the occasion of Diwali Balipratipada, the exchanges will be closed on October 24.
