It is yet another victory by the security forces in its campaign against terrorism. On December 28, 2021, the security forces neutralized Samir Dar, the only surviving terrorist involved in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district, as informed by the IGP Kashmir on Saturday.

As per official reports, Dar was involved in several terrorism-related activities and civilian atrocities. He taught the locals how to make IEDs and use them against security personnel.

“He has also been responsible for brainwashing, selective identification, radicalization, and providing arms to the young locals,” stated General Officer Commanding of Chinar Corps Lieutenant General DP Pandey.
