On April 9, the Guwahati police raided House No. 57 in Laxminagar, Hatigaon, and seized a significant amount of brown sugar as well as cash.


Digital Desk: On Sunday, the Chariduar police conducted a big operation that included a raid on a lodge in Balipara, Assam's Sonitpur.

A substantial quantity of brown sugar was recovered from Taj Lodge's room 9 during the search.

Four people were reportedly arrested about the event, according to sources.

The people are Jenson Pamos, Lahm Tashi, Tenzin Dorji, and Kamal Chetri, according to the information available.

Four of them are from Rangapara, with the fourth person being an Arunachal Pradesh native.

To learn more about the drug-related operations and the network involved, the police have launched additional investigations.

An amount of total 800 grams of brown sugar, with an estimated market worth of about Rs 80 lakh, were reportedly found during a police search on the home that was carried out in response to a tip. The cops also found 7.49 lakh rupees in cash and a high-end car in addition to the drugs.
