Digital Desk: In a shameful incident, an elderly man in the Sivasagar district of Assam was allegedly beaten to death by his intoxicated son on Monday night.
As per sources, the accused son has been identified as Jiten Garo who had a heated argument with his father over a minor issue. Due to alcohol intoxication, the son killed his father by beating him severely with a spade.
The incident was reported from Kakotibari village in Sonari, Assam.
The police were notified later, and the accused son was taken into custody while the father's body was sent for post-mortem.
After informing the police, the accused son was arrested and the father's body was sent for a post-mortem.
