Rome: The Italian motorcycle manufacturing giant Ducati launched one of its most advanced electric scooters ever. The name of this new model is Ducati Pro-III e-scooter.

As informed by the manufacturer, the price of this new scooter is EUR 799, which is around INR 68,400 in India.

It is one of the most technically advanced scooters. The vehicle has a chip enabled starting system. It allows the user to simply start the vehicle by bringing a token close to the display and wait for the ‘pass’ sign to appear.

Among other features, the scooter is powered with a battery, which has a capacity of 468Wh. This allows the vehicle to run up to 50 kilometers with a single charge. Reportedly, the battery takes around nine hours to fully charge.

Besides, the vehicle also features a 3.2 inch LED display which can manage multiple functions. It allows the riders to choose between four riding modes from 6 km/hr to 25 km/hr.

It also has a USB port to charge smartphones and use other devices.  

To constantly monitor the performance of the vehicle digitally and locate it through GPS, the vehicle comes with its own mobile application, which is available for both Android and iOS users.

Lastly, for the maximum comfort and stability of the riders, the scooter is equipped with a 10-inch anti-puncture tubeless tyres.

This new vehicle is reportedly available for buyers in the official Ducati dealerships, Ducati e-shops, and in consumer and specialized electronic shops in the selected markets.
