Guwahati: A youth from Assam decided to join the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA)after being hit by the financial crisis, a report said.

Reportedly, a youth identified as Manash Borgohain has openly announced in his Twitter handle that he will join ULFA soon.

Borgohain wrote in his Twitter handle in the Assamese language, “Very soon I am joining ULFA. This government is only cheating us. Left out with no option for survival.”

Sources quoted that the youth was planning for startup but failed to sustain due to lockdown in the state. So, he chooses to join ULFA with no option left in his hand.

However, a reaction from the Assam government is yet to come in this regard.
