Digital Desk: An 89-year-old woman named Lali lost her life in a disastrous fire that occurred in the IOC area of Vairengte close to the Assam-Mizoram border. The incident took place on 8th May 2025 around 3:30 PM.
Lali, who had difficulty walking prevented her from saving herself when fire surrounded her home, the fire spread rapidly, destroying two houses before firefighters managed to bring it under control.
